Over time we have gathered wonderful stories about Project Twiddles, the twiddle muffs, cuffs and mats and the wonderful people who make them. We have also received feedback from time to time about the recipients and the difference the twiddle mats, muffs and cuffs make to their time in hospital.
In this section we share those stories. By doing this, we help to create a community that provides a feeling of belonging and participating in a worthwhile project. Recently we had a memorable occasion when we met some of our makers at the Royal Park Hospital cafe, some for the first time. I so enjoyed catching up with old friends, the Project Twiddle makers, who have been with me for some time. We are beginning to establish a history of shared experiences.
